As part of the design team's deep interest in the historic character of the building, a professional photographer with HABS/ HAER documentation experience was engaged to take photos prior to construction and then twice during the construction efforts. While not required for the project or registration for the U.S. Historic Register, the preconstruction photos were used extensively to support design direction and documentation.
While the preconstruction images capture the state of the building as it stood for decades, the construction photos document a moment in time in the life of the project and building. Construction sites are ever changing and capturing some of these moments hopefully provides a resources for future endeavors on the site.
